I am having lots of trouble getting the video camera out and recording an episode, so I am just going to do articles instead of videos for a bit.

Knitting Projects

  • Cable Me This Socks – It seems I did so many socks this Christmas. I made socks for my husband, my son, his girlfriend, my daughter, and my coworker. I love the faux cable pattern from the Cable Me This Fingerless Mitts so I just did a sock with a K3 P2 rib to start and did the faux cable patter to the heel and then on the top of the sock to the toe. It fits so nice. I am drafting the pattern now.
  • Dan’s 10 stitch blanket for graduation in May. I decided that my kids will get a knit afghan when they finish a university degree. Dan graduates in May so I am going to have to finish his blanket soon. It is now throw sized but he is tall so I want to add a few more rounds on it. It is looking good though.
  • Santa Hat Pattern is still coming. I think I will have to officially launch it next fall. I am also hoping to teach a class on it at the PEI Fibre Festival this fall. I am not sure if my application to teach will be accepted. IMG_2268
  • Double Knitting coasters practice for my March workshop through PEICC.

2019 Stash or Shelf KAL Winner

I am so slow choosing winners for the 2019 KAL that anyone who posted projects after I drew prizes last is getting something. The winners are:

  • ImmaKnitter
  • Eenae
  • TheZencha

Happy knitting!!!
